The secret in the South Atlantic
A speck of green, 1,900 km from anywhere
St. Helena is one of the most isolated places on Earth, so remote that Napoleon was exiled here. Steep volcanic cliffs, hidden green valleys, and water so blue it feels invented.
Most people will never get in the water here. That’s exactly why we go: crystal-clear seas, untouched coastline, and the rarest whale shark gathering on the planet just offshore.
Our main characters
The largest fish in the ocean, fully grown
From December to March, whale sharks gather around St. Helena like nowhere else, and here they arrive as adults, males and females alike. Every other hotspot on Earth is mostly juveniles.
You slip into warm, clear water and a gentle giant glides beneath you, calm, unbothered, completely wild. No feeding, no cages, no crowds.

The shape of the week
Day by day
Day 1
Arrival
I’ll meet you at the airport and bring you to the hotel. We settle in, get to know one another over dinner, and I’ll walk you through the week ahead.
Days 2–7
Ocean & island
Five days on the water searching for whale sharks, dolphins and whatever else the sea offers, aboard our private charter. Between dives we explore on land, Napoleon’s House, easy hikes to sweeping viewpoints, the lava-shaped coast. Evenings are slow: good food, your photos, and my talks on the animals we met.
Day 8
Departure
Check out, slow goodbyes, and onward travel, many guests keep the adventure going with a Cape Town stopover.
